Trainings

The Education program of the National Center for Minimally Access Surgery aims to teach, certification and continuing education in Minimum Access Surgery and Therapeutic Endoscopy for specialists in: general surgery, urology, gastroenterology, gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, anesthesiology, nursing. The program includes one-week and one-month training offers throughout the year.

Training is offered for Fellowship on the country in the specialties of General Surgery and Urology.

Laparoscopic Surgery Training Center in Havana

The minimally invasive surgery center in Havana has a teaching staff of high level, certified and accredited to perform basic and advanced laparoscopic procedures, and they have also introduced new surgical techniques in the country, thanks to the solid training base of the Cuban School of Surgery and Laparoscopy, consolidating itself from the stay in centers of great international prestige such as: The Minimally Invasive Surgery section of the Faculty of Medicine of the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen in Germany, the European Institute of Telesurgery in Strasbourg, the International Center for Endoscopic Surgery of Clermont Ferrand in France, the Clinical Hospital of Barcelona, the Saint Pierre Hospital of Brussels in Belgium, among others.
