Includes: Multidisciplinary assessment (surgeon, psychologist, endocrinologist, cardiologist and anesthesiologist), blood tests (includes hormone studies), abdominal ultrasound, upper digestive tract endoscopy and chest X-ray.

Second Stage: Treatment

Includes hospital stay for three nights in a private room with accommodations; preoperative care, OR right, anesthesia and postoperative resuscitation. Postoperative fluoroscopy and surgical biopsy.
