Barrett's Esophagus (EB) is the most relevant premalignant condition for the development of esophageal adenocarcinoma and the presence of dysplasia is a marker of progression. n observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study with 86 patients with a diagnosis of BE treated at the National Center of Minimally Invasive Surgery, between January 2014 and January 2016. Mild erosive esophagitis and hiatal hernia were related to the presence of dysplasia, especially low grade, after the application of a study protocol during endoscopy. Leer más...
