Treatment: Video-assisted laparoscopic resection of the colon and rectum.
Can be ambulatory in no less than 48 -72 hours. Includes: Multidisciplinary assessment (surgeon, oncologist, nutritionist and anesthesiologist), blood tests (includes tumoral markers), echography and abdominal and pelvic CAT scan with contrast, video colonoscopy, electrocardiogram and chest X-ray.
