Includes: Evaluation by a gastroenterologist and anesthesiologist, blood tests (complete blood count, coagulation test, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, blood group, liver profile, blood glucose, creatinine, serum amylase, serology, HIV), abdominal ultrasound, electrocardiogram and chest X-ray. It also includes ERCP as a diagnostic tool once the patient is admitted.
